COEXPORT celebrates its 2025 General Assembly of Members and reaffirms its commitment to the development of the export sector


Today, COEXPORT successfully held its General Assembly of Members, a key forum for sharing the achievements of the 2023-2025 term with our members and jointly planning for the future of El Salvador's export sector.

During the event, Ms. Silvia Cuéllar, President of COEXPORT, shared a message of commitment and strategic vision focused on strengthening the export sector, with particular emphasis on market diversification and the consolidation of new opportunities for Salvadoran companies. As part of the agenda, the Annual Report for the 2023-2025 period was presented, along with the audited Financial Statements as of December 31, 2024, reaffirming the association's commitment to transparency and accountability to its members. New members were also officially welcomed, joining COEXPORT to contribute to the development of the national export sector. One of the most important moments of the event was the swearing-in of the Board of Directors and the Court of Honor for the 2025-2027 term, with the members of the previous term being reappointed.

In her remarks, the president reiterated her commitment to continue working on behalf of the export sector, consolidating initiatives that promote competitiveness and the sustainable growth of Salvadoran exports. During the Assembly, the Minister of Economy, María Luisa Hayem, shared an overview of the country's economic situation and presented projects aimed at strengthening the productive sector and attracting investment. She highlighted the progress in trade negotiations with Belize, Peru, China, and MERCOSUR, and offered the Ministry's technical team to exporters to support market diversification. She also reiterated her commitment to continue working closely with COEXPORT.
