Boosting export opportunities to Chile

The Salvadoran Exporters Corporation (COEXPORT), in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of El Salvador in Chile, held a successful business roundtable with Chilean buyer Roberto Ramírez Crouchett.

At this meeting, 12 Salvadoran food exporting companies presented their export offerings, exploring new opportunities in the Chilean market. In 2024, El Salvador exported $10.1 million to Chile, with products such as sugar, t-shirts, iron and steel wire, paper and cardboard, and plastic goods being the most prominent.

Thanks to the Partial Scope Agreement between the two countries, Salvadoran exporters can access this market with tariff advantages, strengthening their competitiveness.

This initial meeting reinforces COEXPORT's commitment to continue promoting the internationalization of Salvadoran companies and leveraging the opportunities that Chile offers as a growing market for our products.
